An ancient Bowie knife made for the pre-war Pioneer Scouts. It was used as a rite of passage and badge of office for Scouts who graduated from Tadpole to Possum, and was gifted to Gwendy by her guardian and unofficial fellow Scout Holden on behalf of her departed parents who once mentioned their desire for her to have it when she came of age.
